Mahindra & Mahindra has just unveiled the latest version of its popular XUV700, introducing a refreshed 2024 model with several enhancements and a brand-new six-seater variant in the AX7 and AX7L grades. Since its market debut in mid-2021, the XUV700 has soared to over 1.40 lakh unit sales, making it the fastest-selling vehicle in Mahindra’s Indian portfolio.
The exterior of the 2024 XUV700 showcases a striking Napoli Black paint scheme, complemented by black finished roof rails, a redesigned black grille section with vertical slats, and newly crafted black alloy wheels. The SUV is also available with an optional dual-tone color featuring a Napoli Black roof.
Inside, the AX7 & AX7L variants boast upgraded features such as dark chrome air vents and console bezel. A notable addition is the introduction of a six-seater configuration with a middle-row captain seating arrangement in the top-spec AX7 and AX7L grades, accompanied by new features and technologies.
The pricing for the 2024 Mahindra XUV700 variants starts at Rs. 13.99 Lakh for the MX variant and goes up to Rs. 23.99 Lakh for the AX7L variant. Ventilated driver and front passenger seats, memory function ORVM exclusively in the AX7L variant, and an expanded Adrenox suite with 83 connected car features are among the notable features.
The firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) capabilities allow seamless software updates, similar to smartphone technology, utilizing the inbuilt e-SIM. The Prognosis feature provides timely updates on upcoming service needs, enhancing vehicle maintenance and reliability. The ‘Ask Mahindra’ concierge service, available on weekdays between 8 am and 8 pm, reveals hidden features and capabilities within the XUV700.
Mahindra has also introduced the White Glove Chauffeur Training Programme, providing training by experts covering vehicle functionalities, ADAS systems, handling emergencies, and understanding faults and error signs. The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 is now open for bookings, with demo vehicles reaching dealerships starting January 25, 2024, promising faster deliveries due to enhanced production capacity.
