Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a leader from the Congress party, had to go to the hospital because she wasn’t feeling well. This means she won’t be able to join the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, like she planned.
On Twitter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra explained that she was excited about the Yatra coming to Uttar Pradesh, but she got sick and had to be in the hospital. She assured everyone that she would join the journey as soon as she felt better. In the meantime, she wished good luck to her colleagues and her brother who are getting ready for the Yatra in Uttar Pradesh.
The Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, is a long journey from Manipur to Mumbai, passing through many states, including Bihar. Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge spoke at a big rally in Aurangabad, Bihar. The Yatra will be in Uttar Pradesh from February 16 to 21, then again from February 24 to 25, with rest days on February 22 and 23.
The purpose of the 6,700 km Yatra is to promote the idea of justice (“nyay”) and connect with people from different states along the way.
